Using an idiosyncratic compass and thinly disguised as Broken Telepathy, the Bronx-based duo of Kaori Nakamura (Soft Gang) and Darin Mickey (Dichroics/Soft Gang) navigate a range of emotional landscapes employing super-normal sonic objects. Feeling at a distance while attempting to psychically facilitate connections via sound with magnets, speakers, strings, tape, and a variety of other tools at hand.

Recorded in relative isolation during the waning viral years of 2022 and 2023 above a Thai restaurant, this debut full-length endeavor by Broken Telepathy is empathetically harnessed in infectious break-beat rhythms with pensive, sonic stabs of guitar. Intersecting sensory channels of synthesizer and bass sooth the background hum of the brain and color the ear.
